History of Robotech
Robotech has one of the most interesting histories of any SF series. Originally a cartoon series, it was translated into a comic published by Comico and a twelve volume book series by Jack McKinney. Years later, in 1987, McKinney began the Sentinels. Eternity comics simutanously published a more detailed adaptation. From there the comic was moved to Academy Comics with the original team of artists and writers. Now after years of doing the Sentinels, I suspect they have gotten tired of doing the same series and feel the need to do something new. As much as I'd like to, I can't blame them. Now the torch has been passed to Antartica Press. This time around, it is a series of computer genrated additions to Robotech. We learn more about the characers, their habbits and hidden talents. Even though I would have prefered a complete remake of The Macross Saga, I believe Antarctica Press can life up to the name of Robotech.
