Jason Youngberg's Online Anime/Sci-fi Garage Sale FAQ
What is it?
The concept of this site is the same as those garage sales people have in their front yards on spring
weekends. The only difference is, this is online. Everything is sold "as is". Buyer pays for all shipping.
Prices and trades are negotiable. I created this site because I have too much stuff that I know I'm not
going to use anymore. I'm not doing this for money or a business or even a hobby.
How do I order?
You just email me about what you want. I'll tell you what's still available and we hammer out an agreement.
Once I receive your payment, I'll mail you the items. It's that easy.
Do you take international orders?
I've had mixed results. The shipping cost is high and some countries aren't as diligent as they should
be about delivering packages. If I am asked to ship out of country, you pay for shipping and
accept all the risks. I can't accept any responsibility once I leave the US Post Office.
I only take US currency.
I have a question about one of the items
Ask away. I'm not going to give lengthy descriptions here, just the basics. If you need more details to
be sure it's what you want, I'll tell you want you need to know.
Any "adult" items?
No. Let me rephrase that NO. Too many legal headaches.
Spam
I hate spam and I'm certainly not going to subject others to it. Once I know you got the package and it
meets your expectations, that's it. I'm not going to assume you want to hear about anything else I have
to say. Contact between us is on your terms only.
Honesty
Anyone can say they're honest. While I can truthfully swear that I won't rip you off, the only proof is
your reputation. I have feedback on ebay
http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=moquif
as evidence. Though I'm a buyer more often than I'm a seller, my feedback is still consistant. I'm
prompt and polite. I believe that as soon as you pay for the item, it's yours and it's my responsibility
to get it to you ASAP. If there's a long delay, I'll let you know.
Ebay
To reach a bigger audience and maybe get a better price, I might put an item here up for auction on
ebay occasionally. If that happens, I'll have a link to the auction.
I don't see what I want
Go ahead and ask me, but there's no guarantee that I have it or I'm willing to sell it if I do.
What will you take in trade
As I said, I want to get rid of stuff I don't use. Usually if I want something, I'll look for it on my
own. But if you make an educated guess about something I may want, let me know. Be warned, I may already
have it.
How "used" are the things you're selling?
Well I have Robotech models that are still in their plastic bags and previously viewed movies bought at
video rental clearance sales. I'll tell you the condition I think they're in and price them accordingly.
Some items may even be free.
What about these "free" items?
You pay for shipping and that's it. Take them with my blessing. Just remember you get what you pay for.
Why are you selling this?
Most of the time it's because I don't expect to use it anymore. I may sell the VHS version of a movie I have on
DVD. Or I may have no further in interest in it. If it's defective, it goes in the garbage and not to you.
